The TVS Radeon was launched way back early but since then it is one of the dominating motorcycles in the Indian market. As it is liked by the majority of the national population. As a result, it is upgraded to the BS-VI version and has won the prize of the commuter bike of the year.
The TVS Radeon is available in two variants: Standard and Commuter Bike Of The Year. The latter is available in both drum and disc brakes whereas the former is available only with drum brakes. The price of the TVS Radeon Drum ES Alloy BS6 is INR 59,742, Radeon Commuter Bike of the Year – Drum BS6 is INR 62,742, Radeon Commuter Bike of the Year – Disc BS6 is INR 65,742.
TVS Radeon Specification
The TVS Radeon features a 109.7cc single-cylinder carburetted motor that outputs 8.2 PS of power at 7000 rpm and 8.7 Nm and at 5000 rpm. As usual, the engine of the Radeon is mated with the 4-speed manual transmission gear. The fuel tank capacity of the motorcycle is 10 litre and the average of the new TVS, as claimed by the company, is 69 kmpl.
If we talk about the brakes, the TVS Radeon comes with both drum and disc brakes, but the brakes are limited to specific variants. As we talk about the dimensions of the new TVS, the length is 2025 mm, the width is 705 mm, and the height is 1080 mm. The weight of the motorcycle is 116 kg of the drum version and 118 kg of the disc version.
TVS Radeon Features
The TVS Radeon does not revamped its body design. The addition of the new disc brakes on the front wheel, new chrome rear view mirrors, and new metallic levers. There is also a upgrade in the seat, now there is a premium version of the seat and the petrol tank get its cushion styling and cover in this latest version.
At the front fascia, the headlamp is a 12V – 35/35W Multi-Reflector with LED DRL (5W), and the taillamp is ordinary 12V P21/5W LED bulb.
The TVS Radeon has tubeless tyre and alloy wheels. Other features include, digital speedometer, digital tachometer, and digital tripmeter. There are different number of color options for different variants. In the base variant, the color options available are Pearl White, Metal Black, Golden Beige, Royal Purple, Volcano Red, and Titanium Grey. While, the commuter bike of the year variant, the color options available are Chrome Black, and Chrome Brown.
