Kawasaki has launched the upgraded BS-6 Kawasaki Vulcan 2021. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the motorcycle at the price of INR 5.79 lakhs. Compared to its phased-out BS4 counterpart, the new Kawasaki Vulcan S does not sport any major mechanical or cosmetic enhancement. However, it is now offered only in a new color called Metallic Flat Raw Graystone.
Kawasaki Vulcan S – Specifications
Kawasaki Vulcan S features the 649 cc engine that outputs the 60 PS at 7,500 rpm of power and 62.4 Nm at 6,600 rpm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. If we talk about the brakes, then there are disc brakes equipped on the front wheel and the rear wheel with dual-channel ABS.
Kawasaki Vulcan S – Features
The BS6 Vulcan S does not get a new TFT display or a LED headlamp. The motorcycle also gets Kawasaki’s Ergofit system where the handlebar and the footpegs can be positioned according to the liking of the rider. Kawasaki is also offering different seat options for the BS6 Vulcan S as well.
It employs a diamond-type frame with a conventional telescopic fork and a 7-way adjustable mono-shock. The bike is anchored by a single 300 mm disc up front and a disc at the rear with Nissan calipers. It tips the scale at 226 kg, while its fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres.
Other features include digital odometer, digital speedometer, digital tachometer, 2 digital trip-meter, low battery indicator, electric start type, shift light, killswitch, and clock.
